In District 45, our brand lives in the trust parents feel when they drop their kids off each morning. It’s in the quiet confidence of a student who finally believes they can. It’s not built with colors or logos, but with small daily choices: cultivating hope, building confidence, unlocking potential. When families talk about District 45, they’re not repeating a mission statement. They’re sharing a story of what’s possible.

Our students participate in incredible learning experiences, and excellent teachers shape those experiences. Photos help depict our brand. When possible, spontaneous, fun, and vibrant images should be used in favor of photos that appear staged.

The District’s visual identity can be seen in the careful use of typography. District 45 uses Google Drive as a primary tool within the organization. Of paramount importance is using typefaces that work well within the Google ecosystem.

Barlow Semi Condensed is a Google typeface that is best used as headlines and callouts. It looks great when used in all caps and in medium or bold.
